As if that ever happens. I am perpetually starting new projects and I rarely have the will to finish them. I can't even begin to tell you how many things are in time out just because I'm bored of them. I want to say that I'll change, but I can't make any promises. Instead I'll just show off some things that are actually allowed to come out and play.
This is Glee, a Zephyr pattern, out of Cambridge:
The yarn is far more fun to work with than I anticipated. The color change is subtle and sophisticated, though this picture doesn't really do a good job of showing that.
This is another basic neckdown out of a superwash wool that I dyed:
I used plants to dye the yarn. I can't remember exactly, but I think I used onion skins, cochineal, madder and logwood purple. I'm not really sure because I started getting frustrated and just dipping it in every color because I wasn't getting what I had planned. Turns out it's not so easy to plan when dyeing with plants--but still fun!
